SAIOE Invited to Scripps
On April 30, 2010, Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine presented the Integrative and Holistic Nursing Conference: Bringing Healing to You and Your Patients. The objectives of the conference were to teach the difference between healing and curing, identify the role of body, mind, spirit and emotions in health and healing and to understand the importance of life style changes one of which is the incorporation of the SAIOE thought process and its application of energy medicine.
Robert Heiman, creator of SAIOE: The Gift of Knowing, was invited to give a presentation at this all important educational conference, where he captivated his audience with the concept of SAIOE and its implementation into everyday life.
This conference for nurses and other health care professionals incorporated non-medical approaches into medical practices, such as Yoga, Reiki, Meditation, Pain Management, Music Therapy, SAIOE and etc. The focus was on mind/body energy healing and spiritual practices that transcended medicine in the healing arts with evidence presented on the effectiveness of energy on well being and recovery.
